Handcrafted Ceramics, Pottery and Wall Plaques
Welcome to my online exhibition of contemporary ceramic works that embrace process, spontaneity, and material autonomy.
Each piece of my work begins without a fixed destination, allowing the clay to guide its own evolution through making. These forms emerge through touch, intuition, and response rather than control, while surface decoration is applied with a sense of freedom and play. Rich textures, expressive marks, and tactile surfaces record moments of my interaction between hand and material.
These works celebrate uncertainty, transformation, and the beauty found in allowing things to become what they are, inviting viewers to engage with clay as a living, responsive medium.
Featured Piece
Raw Earth
This hand-built ceramic vessel allows the clay to find its own form.
One of a kind
The natural beauty of nature is captured in this Series which triggers a calmness and serenity in the viewer.
Subtle colours and design elements enhance the visual impact.
This series is inspired by the raw elements of clay and various decorative processes that determine the final outcome.
The imperfections and anomalies that are allowed and identified give the body of work its unique visual effects.
The construction of layers with not only the clay but also a range of under glazes and mixed media and decorative techniques is evident to the viewer.
These processes give depth to the pottery.
The aim of this Series is to capture the rugged elements of nature in the wild.
The lucid approach to the decorative process of a range of material brings together the overall effects that achieve a sense of a living landscape.
